Things to remember while installing your new AT&T Messenger:

1. 1. With the new AT&T Messenger, existing and new customers will need to login at least once. Just use the same username and password you use for email (example user name: myname@bellsouth.net). If you have forgotten your password, you may request a change by clicking here: http://my.att.net/forgotpasswd
2. 2. Your contacts (buddy list) should remain unchanged
3. 3. Your photos and albums you have created should still be available after install.
4. 4. If you have manually copied any files into any BellSouth application folders, you should copy or move them to a safe place before installing the new AT&T Messenger.
